Rhythm Foundation

The Rhythm Foundation’s 2011-2012 season starts next Friday night at the Little Haiti Cultural Center. In addition to the duo performance called Chamber Music, there will also be a silent auction and an after party with a DJ, food and an open bar.

Curtain Up

It’s a kick off weekend for the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center with Curtain Up. Performances by Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Orchestra Miami, and rising stars of tomorrow from the Aventura Marketing Council’s Young Stars Showcase.

The Brothers Size

The winner of the New York Times 2009 Outstanding Playwright Award is now onstage at the Gable Stage in Miami. Set in Louisiana’s backwater bayous, The Brothers Size explores the struggles of two brothers locked in a tug of war for their souls.

Bullied

Bullied is a documentary that chronicles the experience of Jamie Nabozny, who in the late 1990’s stood up against his anti-gay bullies. This led to a landmark case,which held his school board accountable for not stopping the violent behavior. The film will screen Monday, Sept. 26th at 6:30 p.m. at Cinema Paradiso in Ft. Lauderdale.
