Claire Huangci
Pianist Claire Huangci will play her first recital in Miami since winning the 8th National Chopin Piano Competition last year. In addition to a few Chopin pieces, Claire plans to play selections by Bach, Mendelssohn and Scriabin. The music starts at 4 this Sunday afternoon at La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach. chopin.org.

Program II
The Miami City Ballet’s second performance of the season is onstage at the Broward Center this weekend. Another diverse program with their second premiere of the season, Program II with the Miami City Ballet focuses on dance choreographed by George Balanchine and Twyla Tharp. Bell in Recital
Next Tuesday you can catch Joshua accompanied by pianist Sam Haywood in a performance of three gorgeous pieces; the Sonata no. 2 by Brahms, the Sonata no. 2 by Grieg, and Schubert’s Fantasy in C major. Brazilian Dance
The Bale Folclorico Da Bahia from Brasil performs this Saturday at the Knight Concert HallĀ of the Adrienne Arsht Center.
