New Music Director at FGO
Ramon Tebar was recently named Music Director of the Florida Grand Opera.
His debut will be in the upcoming 2011-2012 season with an exciting opener, the first-ever Florida performance of a Spanish Zarzuela, “Luisa Fernanda” by
Ferderico Torroba. For more information on the remaining shows in the FGO’s

Dine, Drink and Discover!
The 16th Annual Wine & Culinary Celebration at the Museum of Discovery and Science is coming up next Friday, April 1st. Over 30 of South Florida’s top restaurants and chefs will offer up a sequence of wine and food pairings, each designed to perk up your taste buds and teach you a thing or two as well. Dine, Drink and Discover!, the 16th Annual Wine & Culinary Celebration at the Museum of Discovery and Science, Friday April 1 from 6-11pm. You can get details at mods.org.

Don Quixote
Florida Classical Ballet Theatre present a production based on one of the greatest pieces of literature from the Spanish Golden Age, the classic Don Quixote. Its a twisting, comedic tale of true love, perfect for all ages. The FCBT’s Don Quixote starts at 7:30 Friday and Saturday night at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. Palm Beach International Film Festival
For the last 12 years The PBIFF has showcased thousands of award-winning films, this year it will have more than 120 films. It was recently ranked as one of the Top 25 Independent Festivals in the world, and has also hosted more than 150 World Premieres and more than 1,100 films from 55 countries.
