Blue Wave Affair
The 1st annual Deerfield Beach Wine and Food festival is this Saturday, April 30th. The Cove Shopping Center will host 40 different chefs, and 40 different wines paired to those dishes by a world-class sommelier. The festival starts at 4 o’clock, tickets are available at deerfieldbeachwineandfoodfestival.com.
QR and the FGO
The Florida Grand Opera is embracing new technology to attract a digitally savvy audience. It’s called QR, Quick Response, and it allows smart phone users to access unique video about the opera’s current production, Don Giovanni, by scanning a huge QR code on a Miami billboard. fgo.org.

Decade II
The Momentum Dance Company wraps up its season with a one night only performance of Decade II next weekend. The company will perform favorites from the past season, and the Miami Beach premiere of “Memos from the Last Millennium”. The Cinema Paradiso is hosting a Benefit for the People of Japan as part of the FLIFF.
